T – Nails come in various shank diameters and head-widths. But problems can arise when too THIN and SMALL a “T” Nail is put in a nailer designed for heavier duty applications – or at the other end of the spectrum…. trying to shoot a BIGGER T nail than a tool was made to accept - will either result in constant JAMS or just the nails are TOO Fat to Fit.
Omer helps us find the “T” Nail sweet-spot. Keying in on a very useful 13 gauge (.086” shank diameter) T Nail with a head that is .275” wide…. gives the needed holding power and a head with enough WINGS to suit all but the most demanding applications.
Starting with the little Wine Barrel/Cooperage – Beton model TN.715 nailer that is limited to a maximum 5/8” length. Then move up to Omer's TN.732 tools can accept 13 gauge “T” Nails up to 1 ¼” maximum length.
